The Illinois Raptor Center is a 25 acre wildlife rehabilitation and conservation education facility

located along the Sangamon River in Decatur and Macon County, Illinois.

It has served the people and wildlife of Illinois since 1991.

The Illinois Raptor Center purchased 10 acres in 1994, another 5 acres in 1996, a 1/2 acre triangular tract was donated in 1999 and 10 additional acres with a 1700 sq. ft. home and full basement was purchased in March of 2012.
