The rusty old sign said "no fishing," but the Canada goose was caught in some monofilament fishing line anyway. The fishing line cut his right leg severely. So, he had to spend some time with us at the center. Then we had to say good bye. Time did heal, and now he is back where he belongs. It is always the goal of The Illinois Raptor Center to return wild animals to the wild.
