IRC Open House Photo Album

Our open house featured tours, a falconry demonstration and refreshments. Top right: Visitors view a great horned owl up close for the first time. Bottom right: Jacques Nuzzo flew his falconry red-tailed hawk "Blair" to demonstrate how hawks use their abilities to hunt and survive in the wild. Below: Cora Allard takes a group for a walk along the Sangamon Overlook Trail. Bottom: "Blair" flies close to the ground as she zeroes in on her target.

See our Public Events Page for upcoming events.

Illinois Raptor Center contributors receive an invitation to a special private open house.

Memorable learning experiences have become a trademark of The Illinois Raptor Center's educational programs and public events. From the open house to the annual banquet, public booths and appearances, IRC staff members teach in a fun and entertaining way. Children and adults will learn and remember important facts about Illinois wildlife.
Thanks to all who support our public events.
